Today we had our first band rehearsal. I have decided to work with some of the other students from the other side of year which meant for me to change my timetable. This band includes Aimee, Nita, Jake, Tramaine, Piers, Cem, Elliot & me. We have
an extra band rehearsal which is from my original band timetable.
We started on our first song from our set ‘Fortune Faded’ by Red Hot Chilli Peppers and we completed it. Firstly we got Tramaine to lead then got Nita to attempt it next rehearsal will be Aimee and me attempting lead. The reason we think every vocalist should try lead is so we find the best suited to perform the song to the best possible standard. We will run through the song on a regular basis to ensure we have it tight.
We also begun an original song which was pre written by our guitarist Cem. He already had the chord sequence which we elaborated on. We only have the basic foundations of the track however next rehearsal we can look in to it more along with adding lyrics and a lead singer.
