Events Manager
Event management is a way of outsourcing occasions either business, social or a combination of the two. Events management could take on events such as weddings, conferences, music festival etc. Being an Event Manager involves studying the detail of the brand, identifying the target audience, planning the logistics & coordinating. There are important skills you are required to have to stage a successful event such as communication skills, consultation skills, team management skills, logistic skills, planning skills and organisation skills.
The reason why this is my first choice of role within Imerge Entertainment is because I feel I have all the skills required to manage a quality event. I’ve previously organised several successful gigs for my band, this involved to me to understand the customers need in which case my own personal band and meeting those standards so working in a team was vital in for me to pull off such events.
PR Manager
A Public Relations manager plays an important role in the communicating the companies policy. He/she write press releases and ensure that they reach the correct target audience. They are also involved in preparing publicity brochures, handouts etc. Besides acting as a model of communication with the company and the public in general and PR manager also helps improve the relation between the management and the employees.
The reason why this is my second choice of role within Imerge Entertainment is because I believe I have great people skills. I’m someone that could talk to the employees on an equal level for me to be able to gain and gain relations between the manager and employees. Promotion is also something I’ve already gained experience in within my bands gigs by promoting gigs through social networks such as ‘Facebook’ and ‘Twitter’ along with flyers and posters all around the public area.
Sales & Marketing Manager
Sales & Marketing managers analyze, plan and implement marketing and sales activities. They also monitor how target markets respond to marketing efforts. They’re main goal is to increase profit and retain loyal customers. Negotiation, communication and interpersonal skills are important to have for a good sales a marketing manager.
This is my third choice of entertainment because this is something I wouldn’t normally choose because it something that I have never seen myself doing however i believe that I would make a good sales and marketing manager due to my communication skills seeing as it is all about winning and convincing people.
